This saved us so much money! DIY Carpet Removal & House Reno Design Plans

Let's get back into it! We finally removed the carpet from the living room and it wasn't so bad. The original hardwood floors are finally exposed and I couldn't be more excited. It wasn't easy but, this easily saved us hundreds of dollars!

I pulled up carpet in my house. One room at a time. In three foot strips, so a roll went in the trash weekly. Took a few months but saved a fortune in dumpster fees. I also used this for disposing of bathroom tile and underlay board. Again not instant but affordable.

The floors look amazing & it’s really annoying when they are covered with terrible carpet but, I guess that was the design back then. Can’t wait for more of the journey! 😊
