So I’ve been grip taping boards and putting them together for some years now and I’ve never seen anybody ever use their trucks with the wheels and the bearings you know?? To roll out the bubbles of the grip tape. I’ve been doing that since day, one of doing my set ups, the first thing I would do was set up my trucks put the bearings in the wheels and nut them to the truck’s. I could used the truck and the wheel to roll out the grip on my deck to get the little air bubbles and what not and imperfections. So am I the only one who does it this way???

The pros wear helmets, not just for insurance, also because it helps them push the envelope. That's what pushing the envelope is all about, doing things beyond your ability when serious injury can happen. Never know when your body might fail in a weird way, with extremely unfortunate results. Like that guy doing a standing backflip on the edge of a building. His ankle sprained and his reaction wasn't quite right, sending them over the side of the building. Natural selection? Yes, for people who are not bright enough to wear a helmet.
