This Sci-Fi Bluetooth Speaker is Impressive: Gravastar Supernova Review

I don't know why it wouldn't be massively popular. The thing LOOKS amazing. The build quality as fantastic. The detail work is magnificent. It just doesn't sound close to as good as my $11 AOMAIS Ball speakers, which is totally baffling. With two paired AOMAIS Ball speakers, I can BLAST everything from Marley to Metallica and they sound unbelievably clear and loud, with driving bass. I don't know if there's a way to EQ these Super Nova, but as is, it's just not cutting it. However, because I'm such a Sci-fi nut, I'll keep it. GravaStar REALLY needs to make the speakers inter-pairable. Does anyone know of they are capable of at least wired pairing?

Don't have a second one here. But Gravastar's support may know for sure.

you can pair two of them... just google it from their own faqs "Press the Bluetooth button for 3 seconds on each of the two GravaStar speakers" and of course you can "pair them wired" just use an audio interface like audient iD24.

I have this speaker and I like it a lot, but there are some problems with it that prevent it from being fantastic. Let me elaborate: First off, let me just say that the aesthetics are amazing and almost worth the price alone. But.... - When you turn this speaker on and off this horrible loud sound, which I take is supposed to sound like a robot booting up and down, plays and it sounds horrible. It's also way, way too loud and is not affected by the volume. So, if you want to turn this on at 2am, you will wake the whole house up. - When you pair with a Bluetooth device, this incredibly annoying voice blasts out of the speaker saying "Bluetooth device Found" or "Bluetooth paired". It's really out of place and doesn't sound like a robot at all. In fact it sounds like they've got one of the manufacturing team to speak into a microphone. Personally, I would have preferred something more authentic and robot/droid sounding. Or failing, just something not as annoying. - Lastly, this speaker has distortion on the low end. It's not something that is immediately noticeable, but after you while you can't unhear it. I ran some tests on my music software playing some low end sounds through this speaker and the distortion was very noticeable. To sum up, this is great as a lamp, but as a speaker falls short and needs improving.

The sound quality is definitely NOT that good. Not for $200. (Yeah, that's how much I paid for mine) If you want to buy two for stereo, you have to buy two of the same. I personally feel they should have made them all compatible with all models. I bought a super nova and wanted a Mars Pro as well, but they do not pair together, so basically, that's a lost sale for me.
