Lit as usual. Bro you think we can get a tutorial on how to use transformer scratches to transition between songs. I'm getting decent at doing it but I could use a few examples on how to use it in real time, going from song to song in a party. I've seen a few DJs do it before but a breakdown would be THE SHIT 🔥
@DJLiftOFF

Yessir! I will put together a transformer scratch pattern fasho. More so beginner, or intermediate?
@freqcity
@freqcity 2 жыл бұрын
@@DJLiftOFF i'd say intermediate please my brother. I know how to transform but for some reason I cant really connect songs together with it. So that'd be just awesome bro.

@djliftoff are you ambidextrous with your scratching?
@DJLiftOFF
@DJLiftOFF 7 ай бұрын
Im pretty comfortable with both hands on the vinyl but I’m much stronger with my right hand on the crossfader. I have go to scratches that I do with each hand for sure so not completely ambidextrous whatsoever.

Great video and great instructions! Have you done any videos on intro scratching? Not sure if that’s the correct term, but it’s when you have song playing on one side and you want to do a baby scratch into the mix of your next track and match the beat. Just can’t seem to get it right. Any tips? Thanks

Yes, there’s some beginner scratch videos on the channel as well! Will be doing more as well. Also will be doing a video on scratches without the crossfader

@@DJLiftOFF the only thing that I do not like about HT is when you power off and scratch out, (fun trick), it stops too quickly. On a Technics 1200, you can do this trick (AM made famous), and it's nearly impossible on the Rane, UNLESS it's in Low Torque, but then it's too slow for everything else.

@@DJLiftOFF to be completely honest, I’ve never been a scratch dj, but now I’m definitely feeling improvement because I have a better understand on how to actually practice and run some drills. One of your videos was the most helpful with me grasping and actually understanding the tear. I could never get a tear to sound good, but now I’m practicing one of your drills and it’s definitely making me better. So thanks dude !
