My first win was with the turret as well. I felt super guilty about it but they could have used a turret as well so not sure why it felt bad.

My duo partner likes to have us both get turrets and hire two NPCs and get the storm information from the towers. We start from Eclipse and get the girl there and then the guy in Creepy Compound. There usually is a storm tower between those. If we get thru the jungle area unharmed we usually get the win. Fortunately the NPC as Creepy has scanner ability to mark all the hidden jungle campers.

I always carry 2 briefcase turrets. And after used,i pick it up to use again. They are great for endgame. A briefcase turret thrown near the last players, helps ya third party ,and win the game. They can be thrown on trees as well.

I used the turret to alert me while I'm looting a vault and it's life changing. Or even as soon as you land and there are lot of players, if you find a turret you throw it right away and it does solid work. I was wrong to think that they would be useless.
