@@jenniferdresden8752 It used to not be a betting thing. Once upon a time, it was simply for enjoyment between friends and co-workers before the NFL and several betting sites saw how they could capitalize on a hobby. But yeah, money can be made in some pay to play leagues.

Something tells me you're not familiar with fantasy football. It's not really a video game kind of thing. It's a past time where you gather up some players to create fake teams into a league, and then draft real life NFL players to said fake team, and you get points or suffer consequences for your players' real life performance in games. The schtick here is that Nick's player is injured IRL, so since that's the case, he can't produce as many points in his fantasy league, and his other players aren't good enough to make up the difference. A harsh reality to some fantasy players some of the time. 😆
