In old ARMA mod written content, the bars bolted and welded over the doors of buildings and houses indicate the military piled the bodies of infected citizens inside. I once played on a server years back where a clever admin had infected spawning inside those rooms. You couldn't get to them or they to you, but the sounds of them going berserk at your presence was very cool. So, to get to my point though, there ought to be other rooms in the houses elsewhere like this...

Sometimes they will spawn in those rooms, I’m not sure if it’s intentional but I hear infected inside unreachable areas all the time. It happens a lot in the big apartments.

@elaf7282 you log off and log on a different server so you spawn somewhere else. Then I guess you go back to that server and you'll spawn somewhere random.

There's actually quite a few buildings with additional rooms that can't be typically accessed normally inside the game... the apartments are one large example, if I can recall, every single "barricaded" door in the apartments has a room behind it, and you used to be able to, somewhat easily, gain access to those rooms by either falling from the roof onto the balcony of that particular room, jumping across from another apartment, or building up to it and jumping inside (or literally just putting something down to climb on and hopping the banister)....but I'm pretty sure the devs, in all their infinite wisdom, have somewhat recently put invisible barriers over those balconies and you can no longer gain access.... you know, instead of just adding the last touches to them and opening some more of them up. Same with the one office building that can be found towards the central east side of Novaya Petrovka... some of those offices are blocked off, but are actually rooms.... same with some of the military specific buildings. And on a side note, some of the buildings have other variants, the same building, but in Arma 3 specifically, that have more already open rooms instead of the ones they gave to DayZ SA (because they're all the same model essentially)

@@TrifoliumBlack Duping was "game physics". Parking a car close to a base wall and clipping through the wall was "game physics". Then, in order to get out, you have to ghost your way out. One person's "game physics" is another person's cheating.

You need to approach the inner door with a barrel. And throw it through the inventory so that part of it goes through the texture of the door. Then it can be lifted from the other side.

stashes are the only way to go. bases will just get raided by dupers within a day or so. Great spot my guy. Got a rifi stash spot that would make you jealous ;)
