Roger is the best and has so much to offer. I purchased his program and it is a bargain. For the price of three singing lessons you get a whole course. Absolutely outstanding value :)

I purchased his book almost 10 years ago. Just doing the 3 main exercises for the male voice everyday has made me a much better singer. The one-octave, the octave and a half, and the cry sound exercises take about 20 minutes. I don’t really do any others. Those work well for me. I’m not a full-time pro or anything, just a serious hobbyist who has sung in bands for many years. Try these exercises and you’ll be glad you did.

Learning that I have singing potential is a revelation. In the beginning, the process of developing the skills has an unexpected side effect. In my case on the third day of practicing the singing techniques I was hit with an epiphany. Learning how to deliver emotions in a structured way opens a door and you are forced to confront what’s on the other side. Amongst these emotions are memories of how I have projected my personality to the world and why I receive any nature of feedback. There’s no longer a shield for my mind from the spirit. I am the middle voice and learning to speak from the spirit is overwhelming. Thanks Mr Love

Wow! This is fantastic feedback. It's true that you have to be intentional about the emotions you express. Unlocking such deep insights about yourself is an unexpected bonus.

Middle voice was never a secret to me. I knew about it at the beginning of my studies and it didn't change anything about my voice for the better. Sorry, but its true. And there's no "secret" here. Plenty of coaches talk about it; they just don't always explain it right. (look up anything "mixed voice" and you'll see what I mean)

That head voice sounds more like falsetto than head voice
@troynuevo40785 жыл бұрын
For as long as it is connected to the vocal chords, its called head voice. When it is disconnected that's the time we call it falsetto. These voice register are almost sounds alike. Falsetto though sounds more breathy while the head voice sounds fuller and brighter.. the difference between falsetto and head voice. One is connected (head voice) and the other one is disconnected.(falsetto)

Bradley Cooper worked with Roger for A Star Is Born and he sounded great in that movie. Here's Brad mentioning Roger on the Late Show, with Stephen Colbert: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iqTGkqF7q9lge9E

Interesting. In 1973, I studied with Johm Hudnal who was Barba4a Streisand's voice teacher. He called the middle voice, the retnoid range because it engages the retold muscles in the voice box. I still sing today for fun with about 200 songs on my kareoke list. Vocal exercises are a great way to develop the voice, especially if you are young. I am a flute player too and so picked flute over voice. It was 8 hours of practicing. Eventually, I chose are over music but I still would like to compose and explore synthetic. Unfortunately, I lost a patch of my 4 and a half voice range after a very bad Bouton the flu, having a horrible sore throat. Would love to get that back. Still, I can always get better and I derive much joy singing during this pandemic. Only wish I could make a little money. What is important is not so much the voice but approaching a song with musical sensitivity. Thank you for this technique. Be well.

@jadenkorr5915 жыл бұрын
Yes. It's just different names for the same thing. It's called middle also because it's in between chest and head. But more accurately it's really a mixture of both hence the name mix. I prefer personally prefer the name middle tho.
