The reason they were protesting against the government is that there was a stream flowing beneath the road that people used to walk on. The government had plans to remove the land in this area to expose the stream, which would have forced the merchants who sold their goods there to move forcibly to another location. However, with very little compensation in their livelihoods, they couldn't find a suitable place to relocate. Feeling the threat to their survival in this way, the merchants from that place came together and staged a protest. Many historical relics were buried here, and during this operation, many of these relics were also damaged. It's crazy how good this show is. Comedy, Family, Action, Romance, Sci-fi, Mystery, Superhero, War, Spy thriller, Coming of Age, School Drama...it hits on so many levels. MCU need these writers/directors for X-men. This is top tier entertainment. Some of the best TV I've seen in a long time. There are a lot of good shows, a lot of good kdramas at that, but this is just....I mean no matter where the story goes I'm all the way engaged. Its episode 14 and I almost forgot about the whole kid storyline that even got us here, and you know when it comes back its going to just make it better.

honestly i don't see why they wouldn't just use IVF and surrogates. That would make the breeding program a lot easier. You can make more superhumans faster, and you don't need to worry about parents trying to give their kids a better life or instilling ethics that go against the program. Not to mention the training. Raise the kid in the system minimum resistance, mamximum effectiveness. And if they're really evil, and they want to cut costs, they can put the IVF in a random normal couple, keep an eye on them and offer assistance when the kid shows their power. The parents won't be able to put up much resistance. If the powers never show you just saved yourself 18 years of resourses.

The translation of the drama's dialogue was incorrect. There are too many poor translations of Korean into foreign languages. In this episode, the police's warning was translated as "This is an illegal protest," which is clearly an error. There is no such thing as illegal protests in Korea. It is only that during protests, there may be illegal acts such as damage to public assets, infringement on other people's private land, excessive noise in residential areas, assault, and theft. Even in the drama, the police said, “You are engaged in an illegal occupation protest.” In other words, it means that occupation of public property (roads) where protests are not permitted is illegal, but it does not mean that protests are illegal.

I wished the subtitles used a better term than "service laborers" for the guys who came and trashed the protestors' businesses. It's possible they're the workers who benefit from the land redevelopment project (and maybe aren't getting paid because the protestors are stalling the start of the project. No work = no pay), but you should know there's a dark history of hooligans (often gang affiliated) contracted by big corporations or government to do their dirty work. Many kdramas feature them. Examples of what they do: 1. Attack factory laborers who might be on strike for better working conditions (very common sight during 1970s-80s; SK's 'sweat shop era') 2. Attack pro-democracy college students demonstrating against military dictatorship (the "good" Korea was a right-wing dictatorship until the late '80s with the blessing of the US gov't because it was preferable to communism/far-left ideologies rising) 3. Witness intimidation - find and scare (trash their house) someone about to testify against a corporation's misdeeds in court 4. Harass/attack people refusing to sell their land/businesses (at insultingly lowball offers) to big development firms who want to build something else on that land (the Vincenzo thugs who initially harass the building tenants before joining their side) It's become a kdrama trope that every big business whose head is the show's villain has a private army of hired thugs to go after our main characters.

Flying guy have an easy life. He got a dad that can locate him whenever he fly out. He got a mom who can sense danger from a mile away. Even though his dad is not with him for most of his life there is a chance that he will be back. While zombie girl, mom is dead, they are living with small amount of money because the incident she cause. On the other side, the idiot is in house arrest due to his action of protecting his family so his son is doing his best to be the top of the top for his father's case and yet his son is alone. Just so sad.
