You could have used dripstone for the end trap, if you drop it into the end portal from 75 blocks above it any one who enters the end will instantly die.

@danyyedits they must have got very lucky as it is a 2/3 chance in the first place for a master villager to get the tipped arrow trade, and then you also need to get the right effect, but thanks for the clarification
