This setting transforms capture one - Save to computer PLUS Camera!

In this video I am going To show you how to address the biggest complaint that People have about Capture One. Just in case you don't know, I am a big fan of Capture one and I use it for all of my photo shoots. One of the main things that people bring up when talking about Capture one is that it will only save the files to the computer and not the memory card in your camera. Well…. It turns out Capture one introduced a feature in its software. That now allows you to save the images to both the computer and to the camera. This is a massive feature! But most people do not know this. So in this video, I am going to show you the setting that is hidden away that allows you to do this. A disclaimer. This is not going to work with every camera, but it will work with most modern cameras, and even if you use cameras that were launched in the last three years, it should work.In this video, I talk about how you can test this to see if it's compatible with your camera. With dual saving, does the tether speed drop?

From the reading that I've done it supposed to be a little slower but honestly, I've used it like this a couple of times now and I can't see any difference. I'll try to measure the difference and make a short video to see what the results are.

Thanks Dan - I might reconsider switching back to C1 from Lightroom. It was the reason I didn’t keep using it. I know there are ways to backup to an external drive using something like Chronosync or whatever, but I want/wanted the simple Lightroom approach.

$15 a month for Capture One? I just want a monitor, so all I need is an html cord. I don't need extra software in order to save my images.
