At last Rabbi Jason what a beautiful, in depth ,explanation of 'john 3:16 being born again what a beautiful and Spirit led prayer People often over the years heard the question posed to them, Are you born again? without fully getting an in depth explanation as to what it is about and put under pressure to say Yes then left to wonder and wander what it was all about thank you very much it is a truthful ,genuine and very well done so people can go deeper and truly understand and make the connection Shalom Rabbi Jason and thank you very much

Beautiful to hear the deeper things of the kingdom. I never understand them because I never had anyone to teach them but it’s as simple as breathing in and out. Rabbi you mentioned that you felt Jesus always prayed the Sh’ma (I think you called it the prayer of Jesus ) but in The Chosen he prays what sounded like the Modeh Ani-a beautiful prayer I am trying to remember to say when I get up in the morning-can you tell me why he is praying one over the other? Thank you for your teaching!

Why are the priests called Pharisees instead of Levites? There was a hand on the door of my Hebrew professor's home, I ran my hand over (without touching) the hands and things around her door and felt the Holy Spirit move me over one of the hands. She said it was a gift from her ex husband who was a Levi priest.. I guess a priesthood that still remains.. she left Israel because of the treatment of the Palestinians and is now a professor in the USA and is now a Christian. I knew this feeling was important, but didn't know why I felt it.

Being born again is very much a Jewish concept so Nicodemus would have understood Yeshua’s words. Baptism or Mikva in Hebrew is done many times in a believers life and is understood to being born again. Yeshua was a Jewish rabbi and will return as a Jewish King. He said He came only for the lost sheep of Israel and every gentile who decides like Ruth to join themselves to Israel becomes grafted in. Like every prophet before Him, He was calling them to repent, to go back to the Ancient Paths, the Torah. He didn’t come to start a new religion.
