What is it with different foods being named after German Cities? Not just the ones from Hamburg and Frankfurt that have translated over into English; I read that when JFK flew to West Berlin at the height of the cold war, appeared on the steps of air force one and announced "Ich bin ein Berliner", it translated as "I am a doughnut".

Thank you all for the laughs. Letter Change The Plot is soo funny. As Skin was saying; An aglet or aiglet is the small sheath, often made of plastic (sometimes metal) that goes on each end of a lace. An eyelet is the hole a lace goes through or the hole for curtains etcs
