It's crazy I'm watching a rerun of the first season on cable right now. There is about to be a sequel show animated on comedy Central next year. Everybody Hates Chris might be one of my favorite shows ver. Like Tachina Arnold was born to play Rochelle. Another fact the reason why a lot of the zany cutaways work in this show is Chris Rock had a HBO sketch show in the late 90s called The Chris Rock Show. It's his version of the Chapelle Show. It ran for 2 seasons but he compiled the best of that era and you can watch it all on KZbin. Chris Rock was one of the best. I found Bigger Blacker stuff at the same time as Everybody Hates Chris It's where the character Pootie Tang spawned from. Louie CK was a writer and got his start as well as Wanda Sykes and bit players and writer from the show and his movies make appearances in Everybody Hates Chris. Keep with this series though as the later seasons are great, and add notable 70s and 80s sitcom veterans to the cast.
