Fun bit of trivia about Stick and the ninja stuff: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles started off as a parody of Daredevil. Since Matt's old mentor is Stick, their mentor is Splinter. Since the evil ninjas they're fighting are called the Hand, the Turtles fight the Foot. And the ooze that mutated the turtles was drawn in the original comics to look like the same ooze that blinded Matt.

So just as a point of clarification, Daredevil DOES have powers. His senses aren't just heightened because he's blind, they're hyper sensitive because of the chemicals he was exposed to when he was blinded. (Fun fact, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles started out as a parody of Frank Miller's Daredevil run. The chemical that gave Matt his powers fell into the sewer and mutated the turtles).

Daredevil along with his heighten senses he also has like a sonar type sense as well. Which helps with things around him. Along with high aerobatics and fighting styles as well. Season 2 is amazing!! They introduce the Punisher and Jon Bernthal knocks it out of the park. I was in tears towards the end.

Fun fact, back in the 1980’s Scott Glenn who plays Stick played the lead in a samurai flick. He played a young American caught between two rival Japanese clans fighting for possession of an ancient sword. The name of the movie was The Challenge. Seeing him play a blind swordsman in Daredevil brings back memories.

Black Sky's counterpart in the comics is a Demon that is worshipped by the ones who wanted him in this episode. He teaches and uses Dark magic for resurrection, summoning the dead, and mind control. It seems in this perhaps the Demon was possessing the child's body, so the body was a child but what was in it was not.

Not sure if anyone has let you know or if you already know. Once you get on this train you have to also watch “Luke Cage”, “Jesica Jones”, “iron fist” & “The Punisher”. They all intertwine at one point and there are some episodes that’ll feel like you missed something because one will have been on the other for an episode or two. Once you watch them all it’ll all come together. You can watch just one series on it’s own but it’s so much better watching all of them. Just an FYI

This is the wildest take I’ve ever had, but I remember watching this show and REALLY wanting there to be an off-shoot about the two cops we see first when one punches the other to frame the criminal in the interrogation room and then shoot the guy. I’m talking about the duo that has the one black guy and one white guy, just to clarify. Because I remember later in season 1, {spoilers for Natalie} we find out that they’ve been friends since early childhood, and then one of them sacrifices himself for the other toward the end. Sure they’re both crooked cops NOW, but something about those two was SO intriguing to me, and the care they had for each other

@@Eidlones While it's certainly the weakest of the netflix shows it does in my opinion have more good parts then some people give it credit for. My best example is the character Ward who I think empowers the show a lot all by himself. And while the action and writing is not the strongest it does have strong points. Especially season 2 improves upon the show significantly. Plus there is the added bonus that it gives contest to a lot of things that happen in Defenders as well as adds on stuff from daredevil. I'm not saying people don't have cause to dislike the show, but I do think the hate is a little exaggerated and Natalie should have the opportunity to make up her own mind about it.

Hey, Natalie! idk if anyone else has mentioned it to you yet, but you should really, really, really watch the "Netflix Marvel" shows in the perscribed order. If you watch, say, all of Daredevil, then all of Luke Cage, etc, it's going to really spoil stuff for you, because, chronologically, the shows weave in and out of each other. Basically, watch the first season of everything (except Punisher), as well as the 2nd season of DD before watching The Defenders. Ideally: DD1, JJ1, DD2, LC1, IF1, Defenders. After that, you can really watch the 2nd season of everything and the 3rd season of DD in any order (or not at all, if you didn't particularly like them). All of Punisher can be watched any time after DD season 2. (although I would warn that if the violence in DD comes anywhere CLOSE to reaching your limit of tolerance for on-screen violence, stay away from Punisher. Jon Bernthal gives a next-level performance, but the show is...hauntingly gory.

I think JJ Season 1 is worth it because it’s the best of the JJ seasons (not saying much but still) and I think Krysten Ritter and David Tennant do a great job with their characters, especially Tennant. While I do prefer LC Season 2 (probably only one who thinks that) LC season 1 still has some fun moments and good performances IF Season 1 is sh*t and could be skipped but I included it for completion purposes

Matt is a womanizer/ Ladies man. In the comics they always showed his ability as radar waves and they amplified the belief that blind people have their other senses enhanced. So matt can feel the raised parts of money, her can read stuff you write where the pen or pencil leaves an imprint in the pages, super hearing, etc. i never collected the comic book, so that Viper heat pit sense is new to me, but it makes sense. We have more than five senses after all.

I found your channel because of these reactions. You seem awesome! Question though, are you going to react to all of the Netflix Marvel shows, or just Daredevil? IF you just plan on doing Daredevil. You will need to watch Defenders after Daredevil Season 2 and before Daredevil Season 3. (Defenders is essentially Daredevil Season 2.5 and Iron Fist Season 1.5 while also featuring Jessica Jones and Luke Cage).
