I would suggest you using as much original imagery or visualizations that you can create with different kind of tools before using those generic AI images because there’s always something wrong in them and they don’t really support the content in a beneficial way for the customer or the audience. But yeah, I love this question because it is actually relevant in many topics . For example, if you wanted to write a blog post about moonwalking, you couldn’t just go to the moon and take some pictures of yourself :D But then again, it also highlights the importance of domain knowledge and experience because if you write about something where you can’t provide or show experience and expertise for example with images or illustrations, then that might also be something that you should not write about in the first place .

That being said, you can apply the usage of AI to your specific use case in a way that you think that benefits, your audience, and your workflow, the most. If you happen to notice that OK AI absolutely nails these interior design images, then surely go for it!

@@jalliartturi Hey there! I just wanted to share that I'm in the process of creating a blog about interior design. As a professional in the field, I can create illustrations, graphics, and also, I have some cool professional pictures of my designs. While I may not have examples for every topic I want to cover. Just as an example, I do have the skills to design something like a French Cottage Studio if a client requests it but I don't have the pictures right now!

I understand that in medium, a post will die eventually. But how do you put it back alive and get traffic again?

Of course, it all depends on the topic. If you review the best AI tools for video creation, it might not be a bad idea to do another run with the same topic in 6-12 months at the rate of current tech changes. But if it's an evergreen post, then just put it out there and make sure it's the best post on the internet. As long as it is, it should rank. Of course, that's impossible to guarantee (especially with the latest Google updates) but that's the way it's supposed to work and in the long run most likely as well!

Thanks :) Yeah, it's a lot but if you want to stand out, you really need to do much better than your competitors. I commonly add 50-100 images per post. But it's not a number I chase. It just so happens to be. That's the way to make it stand out. For sure, if you write a post about "What is the distance to the moon" you shouldn't add 50 images. Probably not even one. But that kind of a topic won't give you results because it's overly saturated already. If you want to stand out these days, you need to find content gaps and topics that are poorly covered. Usually product reviews are a good example. They're put together with AI but not by testing the products. If you list 10 best products and test each and show them around, 100 images isn't that much anymore. All I'm saying is try to write about topics where you can do 10x better job than anyone prior! !

No, it’s definitely not a great idea to automate everything, but as a beginner, you can use a prompt similar to what I created to streamline the initial hassle and to avoid the blank page syndrome. But yeah, you need to do a lot of things to make the blog post actually great !

I've grown sites alone, without SEO BS, without expensive tools, and such. But to make people join and watch content, there needs to be an enticing edge to it.
