Want a quick change you can do on your free Kixeye Mirage fleet to take less damage? Then this this a try. Add some Cormorants and projectile speed, you should be able to do the top targets for free.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news. But the sonar on the rocket ships in the 102 is detecting well past the range of torps. So you ABSOLUTELY WILL take damage in the 102s. Not exactly damage free even while moving. The projectile speed of them has been cranked to a million. So not exactly gonna outrun the damage. And thats with all U3 upgraded ships in the fleet.

Lowest damage for me is 10 minutes up to 20ish if I drive badly in the 102. Running 2 damage ships plus 3 with 4 corms each and HVR on board. Kixeye's attempt of their basic donation fleet is instant scrap for me but have alliance members modifying it for better efficiency.

where do you get the high velocity round component?

It may be in pillage or the FM. We use it pretty often, so worth picking up At the same time, these ships are now old so don’t spend time refitting them. Mirage tokens ok, time and generic tokens not

Do we still need gales? I a 102 i take dmg from the ship with the red ring, why?

No gales. Gales only fire if you sub is surfaced, which shouldn't happen. Unfortunately that damage in the 102 is guaranteed and there is no way to completely avoid it.
