Q Remastered First Look - do you have a high IQ? This game will attempt to determine that... sort of. The game has a "Max IQ" of 130, so I wouldn't put much stock into it. I think there's a lot of stuff in this game that's not meant to be taken seriously, but if you do that, you'll have a great time!

There‘s puzzle games like Can of Wormholes, which make me think I‘m completely stupid, and then there‘s these where I see Tyler struggle, and I myself get the idea instantly. I‘m guessing it’s because these games need you to visualize things, which he himself said, he isn‘t very good at.

9:27 While those are technically Chinese characters, it is most likely actually Japanese because the developers are. Regardless though, I believe it means "depression" in both languages

ive seen a bunch of people do these and im always confused as to why EVERYONE, when gripping the side of a cup or anything, makes the grip so WEAK. going around the line, you could go farther down the line to grab it better, like was demonstrated at 17:08

That, or thinking that the more times they go over the lines the heavier they get. Clearly not! This is purely based on area, there is no variable density.

@@axerity9212 No, you just misunderstood what they said. The more you draw, the heavier it gets, but drawing over the same line over and over doesn't change the weight. If you draw a an fill in a circle and then fill it in 5 more times, it doesn't change the weight

@@Mohenjo_Daro_ Q.9, as explained: "Can be done heavily if dawn persistently at the same point". if i had to guess what this meant i would definitely interpret it as "if you draw over the same point it will get heavier" before i interpreted it as "the more you draw the heavier it gets", as thats pretty apparent due to basic physics. although, i still could be wrong considering the vague wording this game has

I'm impressed that you were able to solve almost all of these with just 3 tools (the lever, ramp, and weighted hook). It's like you're a professional engineer

Well, he certainly does have a vast experience of the working of physical mechanisms like levers, pulleys, wedges etc, which he has gained through playing Poly Bridge games. Most of these puzzles don't require any sophisticated knowledge of physics and can be solved just with common sense. It's not that big of a deal.

I think this is the game where Matt will anihilate Tyler. It's basically just structural engineering 101. Most of these can easily be solved with 1 object that has a foot, a hook and a small counterweight.

I'm sure this was as fun little project for the devs but I'm surprised they didn't take it just a little further. Different pens with different weights, more interesting geometry, playing with the scaled perspective from Alex toss.

This game was very sucessful in japan. It started out as a mobile game, then Q Remastered came out on switch, a ton of streamers played it, and now it game out on pc. It was designed by the same guy that made KUUKIYOMI, which was also a hit. This game has over 1000 levels btw.

As someone who played brain dots for years, it astounds me how much struggle people have with drawing games like this, basic stuff like remembering to use a fulcrum or simple strategies for a goal, most obvious of this is how often people make levers with a fulcrum seperate instead of just being part of the lever, and also making too sharp of a bowl on levers which neuters momentum

I have Brain it on, that is similar in concept, but it explains some things, and the score is easier to understand, because you have to beat the level, under the timw limit and under the number of lines. I suspect this has those things in cosideration too.

Hey Tyler here’s a tip if you didn’t figure it out in the rest of the video, the best way to push balls is to draw a radial curve where the start of the curve falls on the edge of the ball, then the shape will roll on the curve and continue to impart momentum to the ball

Oh, there's an English version now. I remember a bunch of Japanese Vtubers struggling with this a few weeks ago. I wanted to try it at first, but then I decided I don't like difficult puzzles, so I decided against it. But it's definitely fun to watch smart people figure things out.

Just a tip: there’s no “density” in the game. scribbling more in one place won’t make your object heavier. Noticed you were trying to do that on some of these.

i would play this more if the drawing tool was a little less strict on being too close to the edge/ other solid stuff. it's really jarring to use and even tho i find the game challening in a good way. the drawing is taking so much away from the experience

Why does everyone choose to use a triangle for their fulcrums in this game? You can get a better launching angle with more stability by using a rectangle, it’s not going to stop the lever from being lifted, it’s still going to use a single point of contact for the movement
