​@@TheskatenomadI agree the most rewarding times I've had in life have been living out of a 35 litre backpack while hiking on The Appalachian Trail The PCT , and various other thru hikes and after 30 years of horrible marriage (stayed together for the children) I absolutely love having everything I own and need in a small bag on my back 😄

@@Theskatenomad idk, i think it might be good to have a cultural precedent to shit on people who use their money to make more money. investing in the stock market is rewarding exploitive, classist behavior and it does hurt people. making money just for having money and not doing any actual work... is an asshole thing to do. im sure hes a great guy. its just american culture is based in this selfish hyper individualism. most people dont get a chance to really challenge the justifications that are fed to us.
