Thank you! We’ve been looking forward to recording it for a while. It certainly is more comfortable on the motorway with 115bhp vs the original 45 😂

Just subbed. What gearbox has the car got, you mention it came with an F17, then you said it has the original gearbox. Did you upgrade the front hubs to big block Astra Hubs?

Engine came with a hydraulic f17. The Corsa is cable clutch so used original f13 that came with the car. Will keep it like that until I look at future power upgrades. Didn't use Astra hubs. Just 256mm brake and caliper upgrade from 4stud calibra or MK3 Astra's.

Awesome little B that. I love it! Do like it's an Apache Gold Corsa. A not often seen colour. Really rate the small block 1800's. It's a cheap swap for an instant 115bhp. I bet it'd cost more to use a C20NE or 20SEH. I have a X18XE1 swapped B myself. In the process of putting it back together ATM. Mine is an Aquamarina LS Pre-97 which I've spent the last four years sorting up. Plan to have it ready for this year's VBOA show. I like the swap as it's a really cheap way of getting some good power into a Corsa B. Without a major headache to make it work.

Iv got a lot of storys of past cars and my current project of a mk3 mondeo st estate its a high mile hero over 200k still pulling like a train and came.back from.thendead after being sat for a year with a slipping clutch but can definitely tell you about some fun times in engine swaped corsas and the old days of modding them using a tree as a hoist or having to drive back from a camping trip no clutch after the release arm snapped.

Great little car, by first car was also a 1999 silver Corsa B. It was a great car, rust started to bubble along the sill and bottom of doors but always was reliable. Unfortunately it went to a scrapyard due to no fault of its own, still hard knowing it was taken too soon😢

Yeah the boot is the only original thing out of the bonnet / doors / boot. Definitleytreated as consumables :) @@Project40Cars

😂 yeah I used the wrong cable when recording and it made it dual channel mono which I didn’t think was possible.
