We transformed the physical appearance and look of my Hero Xpulse 200 BS6 motorcycle by making 2 small changes - we removed the graphic sticker that is on the tank of the Xpulse and we added a generic tank grip that helps, well, grip the tank better when standing and riding.
I don't think that this counts as a modification of the Hero Xpulse, but it's definitely made a huge difference to the way my bike looks. I really like this cleaner look on the Xpulse. What do you think of this?

As a graphic designer I can say that factory decals design are the biggest cons of this bike :) ps. To remove decals easier: 1. Warm them up with hair dryer/heat blower (that way you will leave less glue residue). 2. Use petrol or thinner on some soft cloth to wipe out remains of glue.

I completely agree with you on this. The graphics put me off at start when I saw this bike it looks like a toy. But without the graphics it looks sick! I'm happy to know that it can be peeled off this easily. Looks way better now in my opinion. A nice matte black paint will make this bike look more classy.

Hi. Could you please ellaborate how you managed to remove the sticker on the tank. Because I have a white xpulse and there seems to be some sort of coating on top of the sticker holding the painted portion as well. Thank You

Hey, we just peeled it off without thinking too much about it. You will probably have a clear coat on top the sticker which will make it look different. To be honest, I just wanted to get the graphics off so I didn't bother too much about consequence. Worst case one can get the tank scrubbed a bit and coated over again, if required.

Looks absolutely stunning. Reminds me of the now discontinued Discover (ST, T, M) variants. I've only seen two of those with the stickers peeled off and painted in white. Looks so so good. I think the Bajaj people hide stunning motorcycles under pess than impressive stickering. I miss the old designs which came in just block colours.

Wow!! That subtle change makes a great difference the way the motorcycle looks...! And can you please do something about the indicators? I find them weirdly shaped and looks kind of out of place with a round headlamp.

Yeah. I've been looking for options for that. But 2 reasons to wait: first, I haven't found anything yet that perfectly fits and covers the round gap where the indicator stem meets the frame ( don't want water leaking in) and also because I don't want to tamper with wiring connections as of yet

The x pulse always had “out of harmony” decals. Just peeling off and adding a more functional tank grab rubbers brings back its purpose built aesthetics’s. Form follows function kinds. Minimalism and harmony blend in just like in a Pablo Picasso Clutter brings complexity like in a Mario Miranda

Hey .. i like your videos a lot. Good work. A piece of feedback that I would like to give is that when you do this dual screen style video as an audience I am not able to focus on the text part so I have to keep pausing and playing. It breaks my flow of the video and hampers my experience.

I booked the Xpulse today. My first bike and hope the learning experience too will be fun. The color was suppose to be white till 2 days back. Then I watched this video. Really loved the look without the stickers and booked the matt grey instead. I am also planning a similar graphic less look for my bike. Hey. Congratulations. The tank grip seems to be sold out often, but you can find others that are similar. If you have a little bit to spend you can also get the techspec tank grip and make your own shape
