This Small Change RUINED Mystic Gear in Trove (this makes NO sense)

✏️ Recently players found that Encrusted Runic Trunk boxes were an efficient method to obtain resources for Mystic gear.. it would still take like 200 hours to obtain enough resources, but now developers have nerfed these boxes into the ground and this is the result of it. Worst of all, Mystic Gear is BARELY better than Crystal 5, so why bother? Just ignore Mystic Gear until future updates when they make it easier.

I've been starting to wonder. (Are they making it hard to hit max to encourage spending?) (Are they trying to min max their cash flow?) It seems the only time they allow drops like this to happen is after the last gear is pointless. Like stellar and crystal 5. It seems they want to encourage people to dump in money to catch up and stall updates. This is why people exploit. I'd have way more fun if I wasn't struggling always to hit the next tier. The did this 100%. To encourage people to spend more money. There's no reason to help fellow players when you yourself are fighting to stay up there. Maybe it's just me but this grind is becoming more and more tedious with less and less reward.

See this whole problem is totally endgame. after max c5, after 45kpr. Until than the game is enjoyable. But this is new. This is awfull. And as Scyushi said in video title this makes no sense. So don't think he don't get bored or he even like it. I think you got a serious answer for a blind question.

The only way the Trunks rate was normal is if the devs planned on making mystic (Level 0/1) the start point of Mystic 1/2 - 5 as we all know the devs love to make the next resources 4x to 20x the base value of materials to make an upgrade. Look at Crystal 5s resource costs in comparison to crystal 4 if they had kept the trunks as is then we would have known that you'd have to probably spend 800 to 1200 hours for Mystic 2, then 3000 hours to 4000 hours for Mystic 3, so on and so forth.

Crystal 5 was tuned with leviathan rework giving 200 nitro per packed nitro and the rest of the materials u got from gearcraft which added c5 to begin with... u didn't think ur logic through

So sad to see devs not actually playing the game to see how terrible the updates are and not to mention when we first find a way that works to farm resources then they nerf it to the ground and making it aprox 90% worse, I didn't play for the first week of the update and came back seeing people got max mystic. I'm here now farming for 5-7 hours to get the 25 souls to level my c5 to mystic level 0, I'm not doing over 10k delves or farming ore for 1.5k hours, pls just fix the game and maybe hire some tester rather than nerfing everything to make it terrible, demotivating seeing my favorite game getting this treatment.

Yeah I quit.. this was my last straw. The devs don't care about the players, it's over. I went back to FF14 and having more fun.

I agree 100%. I'm an endgame player at 47k+pr with fully maxed out C5 gears and perfect gems, was rlly looking forward to this update but after trying to even get 1 of my gears up to mystic and knowing that there will be more levels to mystic gear, its safe to say that I'm calling it quits with this game. The more updates these devs drop, the more fed up I become of them.

I stopped playing after they released c5 tier gear, literally can’t be asked grinding on this game anymore especially with it being so rng based atp it’s just ridiculous to play. Seeing them add another level of gear and gems just makes it repetitive. Nobody wants to grind hours for resources.
