DXR is pretty much the same in terms of damaging (1 shot HS kill, 2 shots body kill) and it can also be equipped with 12 rounds standard issue magazine. The differences between SWS-10 and DXR-1 are basically two: DXR does have a much higher velocity, which means the bullet drop is much lower on the distance (allows for extreme range sniping), and also if you'll equip it with the Suppressor (and also use the standard ammo - best of course the extended for 12 rounds), the gun sound seem to be extremely quiet that no other gun in this game have. I don't even use the High-Power ammo on it (as long as I don't want to snipe from really extreme distances to increase the bullet velocity) - it's that good. No matter what you'll do with the SWS - you'll never reach the bullet velocity as high as DXR have. So not only you can silence your gun shots, not only hide from the radar, not only reach extreme ranges (BTW it works best with x8 scope), but overall size of the weapon makes it easier to hide and not peak with your barrel, since it's a bullpup gun. I think the only downsides of DXR is literally a slightly lower fire rate and lack of underbarrel attachments, which is barely noticable in most cases.

Waiting on the servers to be more usable in my region (not something on my end for the lag) to get back into it. I expect DXR will be long, SW-10 to be mid-long, and the AMR to be short-mid/vehicle killer.

It is so difficult to snipe in this game especially on Xbox One 24/7 stuttering and lagging jets flying through the air tumbling and I'm watching your gameplay and it's perfectly fine so they need to either fix the servers or remove cosplay because when I play solo with AI the game is completely fine soon as I jump into multiplayer 24/7 problems

Am i missing something, this is the first sniper right? For me its dogsht! super slow velocity and fire rate. I have been sniping for years on every BF game. But with this, I cant do anything. Headshots are super rare ( so often the bullets just seem to go through enemies) and with the slow fire rate, by the time you get the first shot in , they are back in cover..

This is my first battlefield game and trying to figure out bullet velocity is difficult for me. Plus I play on a small laptop screen so I’m always appalled at how people can spot enemies so fast. After having used both the sniper rifles, I always prefered the SWS. I never understood why everyone was saying to use the DXR. It feels so clunky and the magazine size makes constantly having to reload an absolute pain.

@@wayfastwhitey45 The SWS with any high magnification scope would lose all magnification is you used any other gadget/ability and would have to switch to a none magnified scope, look through that scope then switch back

@@NinjaRemake yep you have to switch scope, zoom, then switch back, to fix in the middle of play. If you're CQB or close medium, you pretty much have to wipe the area before you do that or you're gone. Not ideal

I like the DXR with a suppressor and that Maul optic i think it's called the one with 3x and 1x red dot you can switch between.. Extended mag makes it basically silent, legit just a click when you fire, high powered slightly louder but suppressor doesn't take much away if you're playing on or around objectives, I have the 8x and long barrel if I need some extended range but most of the time the 3x is good enough and I love being able to just press F and switch between 1-3x zoom without replacing the whole scope 😁

I like how DICE actually nailed the snipers (I know it is hard to compliment DICE at this moment). SWS-10 is like your classic squad sniper where you follow your squad and pick off people at short to medium distance. DXR is like dedicated anti-personal sniper where you roam and pick people off over a long distance. NTW is a classic anti-material rifle where you focus on vehicles instead of personals because the round is so powerful.

This game still needs hella work attachments are mostly TRASH the impact and explosion isn’t as huge as BF1 they’re lacking in a lot of shit and the parachuting mechanic doesn’t need a steering mode it’s just fly and drop because of the shooting mechanics parachuting is TRASH AND VERY SLOW AND SUPER INEFFECTIVE. Also if you call any land vehicle on a building and try to drive out of the roof your vehicle will be sent out of the zone smh 🤦‍♂️ they rushed this game way too much.

So, my feeling is the better the bullet velocity the better the sniper, like if it means I don’t have to worry as much about bullet drop and leading shots then I’m def willing to sacrifice a little speed, because I’d rather shoot one DXR shot then a potential second SWS shot bc the first was a bit too hard to dial in.

Yea your good but this game is pretty horrific. Dice... please do this.. 1. Get rid of the dumbass tornado on every map. 2. Get rid of the cap points on top of giant sky scrapers in breakthrough 3. Fix the god awful hit reg 4. Fix your garbage servers 5. Let me spawn where I want, with the class or vehicle I want at the beginning of the round 6. Allow me to opt out of playing with the PC players which have crazy advantages over console

Imo, NTW is best for close range even with the amount of people running armor its still doable and be able to scare off vehicles or even kill them is just a blessing. Otherwise I prefer the DXR on mid-long range cuz I just cant befriend myself with the bullet velocity and dropoff on the SWS. Maybe I just got already too used to DXR idk. Ima try the SWS again but the overall best experience is actually the NTW cuz its just satisfying not seeing 50 hovercrafts on ur screen

This game stutters so bad for me sometimes it s unplayable. I dont know what could be causing it. 😕 I'm on ryzen 5 2600 water cooled with an aorus rx 5700xt and 16gb ram at 3000mhz. If anyone has any ideas to fix the stutters, I'm all ears. But when it doesn't stutter this game is alot of fun.
