Thank you for these videos. As a new player I wasn't treating this like a team based game and was going off on my own to much thinking it was fine. Watching these and hearing you talk about positioning made a huge difference and i've hit plat for the first time as a dps

Really shitty aim, but somehow sometimes extremely smooth tracking and flicks Starts in good positions, always end in bad positions This player is a walking contradiction. It's as if multiple people are fighting over control of the same character lol

I'm pretty sure trackball players use this increase pointer precision to have more movement when moving the ball fast and really slow when moving the ball slowly. I'm curious myself about this and wanna buy one trackball to play with it a bit. Fun fact: I was wondering why trackball isn't used in controllers instead of right stick, turns out there was a study that showed using ball to move to certain places (like on round clock to point to hour) like you would with a joystick and produced a jittery output, unlike analog sticks which produced relatively straight movement, so it never became a thing. However it was like 20 years ago and whichever company figures this out now to replace those awful aiming styles on consoles gonna be rich.

I have a trackball mouse that I thought I'd just use for fun one day, you gotta have pretty high sens to use them. It's essentially like using a really small mousepad, cause you can only move the ball so far each time. Still amazed some people use them for fps games. lol

if u look closely, hes doing perfect horizontal flicks to enemy, but have to readjust his vertical crosshair placement. it explains hes good tracking and spin bot vs echo on top of him.

We've now had it proven that Game Sense & Positioning dont matter at Diamond. You can climb that high on pure aim. I feel like flats has said this a few times. Once you get to Diamond you have to learn how to play actual Overwatch to go higher.

I've been playing overwatch for no more than 2 months max, I went from boring cod to overwatch and I'm diamond 2 in dps and diamond 3 in support. I find this game fairly easy if you pay attention play as a team and dont blame your teammates all the time. Anybody can move up as long as you want to and put in the effort

i play with higher sens. thats what you use when you are skilled. but yes.. when you use high sens, you do have some disadvantages.. if you are not a widowmaker. :)

12:05 if I were in gm I'd have a 90% win rate (support). I have great positioning, good aim, decent ability/ult tracking, phenomenal movement (joystick>keyboard). My replays are "ego vods" but I promise when I play well I'm the best player in the lobby, I don't even clip me sleeping sigma out of ult anymore bec it happens so frequently, I'm gold 4 according to the game

I'm plat on console and I just had the most autistic duo rage at my soldier. I took high ground every fight , consistently picking the enemy junkrat and zenyatta and they complained that the bastion wasn't dying enough. So frustrating watch a tank los an enemy bastion down main and then complain about dying to said enemy bastion. Literally every fight I cleared high ground and by the time i was finishing a 1 vs 2 they would die and blame me. Like how about you don't walk down main into BASTION. The damage dealers that literally is the hardest tank counter in the game? Had one fight where my kiri tped to me high ground (after I finished solo killing the junkrat and zenyatta) and then she dropped to touch the payload (why? I'll never know as the reinhardt just wacked her) and I died to the bastion on the high ground AFTER using my abilities to kill the zenyatta AND the junkrat. She just dropped from their and let me die and then died herself. But apparently since she touched the payload it was justified? You can't make this shit up.
