So beautifully performed. In the middle of the song, where the Acle and his guitar gets some time to shine - did you hear that was similar to the sound you thought were keyboards in "The Grey"? That's his special Tesseract-sound (he writes much of the music), very characteristic for all of their albums. Yeah, he loves his Mayones, there are videos where he talks about his guitars (of course there are...)

Knowing how much you enjoy Tesseract lyrics, I would love to see your reaction of some of Altered State (their second album), though it doesn't have Dan but rather Ashe O'Hara as a vocalist (as Dan mentioned in this video about their 3 year break). Of Matter and Of Energy are some of my favorites lyrically, but Altered State is an album of 4 parts (medleys). Of Matter is the first 3 songs of the album. Of Energy is the last 2 songs. Honestly, the entire album is amazing, but the intro and finale to their albums are things Tesseract always uses to really let you know the significance what will occur, or what just occurred musically. There is a live studio performance of Of Matter, but not Of Energy. Personally, I like the mix on the studio album the most. You can find it by searching for Altered State.

@Irmelinis I have no problem with 15 minutes, but my video would be pretty long with pauses for analysis and deep-diving the lyrics. Could be over 1/2 an hour! 😁

@@BemusingBill Haha. I won't request a song with Ashe on vocals though. He only made one album like 10 years ago, and Dan Tompkins has been the singer of the band ever since and performs those songs just as well. Dan is the man 🤩 😁
