Brad Paisley can bring you to tears in one song and then roll on the floor laughing in another one. Definitely worth hearing more....hint, hint. Thanks for sharing your story with us.

I lost my dad 2 weeks ago. He was one of the good ones, he took on my sister & I with no hesitation at all when he married our mom. I was 2 & my sis was 18 months in age & not to long after he legally adopted us. they went on to have 3 boys as well but never treated us any different. He was stern but fair & loved all of us equally. I have always loved this song but tonight it hit me right in the feels. I miss him so freaking much. Thank you Teri for the song choice & DJ for the wonderful reaction.

Funny story, Teri is my mom and she routinely shares your videos in our group chat when she suggests a song that gets you in the feels. She is an amazing mom and she totally does the same shit to us as well. So. You're getting the family treatment!

I'm the step dad, and this song never fails to make me cry. My step son was 4 when I met him, he's 28 now. My brother and I still playfully remind him of when he used to say to me "Mr. Bwad, I want to go to Burter Ting! LOL

My husband was my friend in highschool. He stepped up when his friend walked away from me and his son. We were the family, stability, and love he wanted. We wanted someone who loved us, and put us first. We went from dating to getting married six months later. This month will be 29 years. My son loves him. He was asked when we got married if wanted my husband to be his dad. My son called out daddy! At only 2 and ran from my lap to my husband's, where he stayed for the rest of the wedding ceremony. He helped with homework and even now 29 years later they still sit down every Saturday and play D&D or watch anime. We do not have mother's and fathers day in this house. We do parents day. We celebrate both of us together since he still has a good relationship with his bio dad.

I adore Brad Paisley's voice and his writing. This song is so very special and it hits hard. What an amazing song for amazing people. The people who don't get enough credit for standing up and saying "I've got you kid"... Thank you Teri for putting this wonderful song in front of DJ. Absolutely perfect choice honestly...
