Mariah and Whitney are very close to his heart. As a little boy his dad knew Gabriel was gifted and so he gave him some Whitney and Mariah Carey CD's. He immediately fell in love with their voices and began to figure out how to sing their style even though he is a guy. He sings all of their songs in their original keys. And their is no auto tune. You should listen to his singing in the car series he put out. He did it because he was getting some haters saying that he was using auto tune. He went and sat in his car with just his phone and his tracks and no mic. Just the speaker in his phone. It's stunning. Suffice to say he shut the haters up. Gabriel is considered one of the greatest current male vocalists on the planet. Truly there is nothing this man can't sing and in the vast majority of cases it is better than the original. When Gabriel was 5, his father gave him Mariah and Whitney CDs, recognizing his talent at an early age. He learned English by listening! Few around him, speak English. You are right, his talent is more than just the voice! He manipulates it brilliantly! You do know his "Car Series" was in response to people who said he couldn't sing like that without auto tune or a magic mic! So he sat, with his phone, in a magic Hyundai and proved them wrong!! He is simply blessed and he never abuses his gift!✌️💖🌹

each song is a different interpretation, you will never see gabriel sing the same way he will always interpret differently, on you tube it is an interpretation but for the studio, on tv it will be a presentation but for the public with improvisations at home and but to relax. cover is that and each presentation is prepared to do different and gabriel is a master at it. the brazilian and the most admired singer on you tube there are 2 or 3 good ones but like gabriel will never exist you give an example who was better than Withney Houston? There is no such thing as Witney is and always will be the greatest gospel singer there ever was. Gabriel is the same he represents poo divas singers in his covers showing respect and showing that a man can do the same technique as a soprano voice and we see that in gabriel. a church singer showing his vocal mastery with tranquility and calm .🇧🇷🇧🇷🙏
