5 culvs was a huge mistake. He lost 2 just like that and would have lost all if opponent wanted to lose more dragoons. His eco build saved him.

Maybe it's mind games, like he might have been anticipating culvs from his opponent, maybe they have played before and it was a culv battle. Still he actually killed about 15 goons with the culvs, falcs and dogs, not a bad trade really.

The thing with Huron is that two of their three techs give you more of their unit, the Mantlet, and they are awkward to use: slow, bulky model, and very short range. Also, I feel Cree Trackers could have shined here: they wall both Halbs and Dragoons, can hold their own against Cassadores, and they are so bulky that they can tank an Organ Gun salvo if at full health
