I have no damn clue how starships work and the signature cards making the text annoying to read isn't helping

Whenever a starship piece is killed it becomes part of your starship, if it’s your first one it creates the dormant starship thing you see on the board. All the stats and text are combined like with zombeasts. You then launch the starship at the cost of 5 mana. Launching the starship creates the actual starship minion.
