If you ever find a sale I recommend getting Renew Your Vows 2 Pack, 60 year anniversary, or the Mafex Spider-Man. These Spider-Man figs have been touted as the best for 1/12 scale for aesthetics and articulation. I own Renew Your Vows and Mafex and both are awesome. Renew Your Vows because he has the mature adult build that I personally like with good articulation for Marvel Legends. Mafex (comic ver. 185) is the best for articulation, aesthetics, and accessories. Really good if you like the McFarlane styled heads. However it has small wrist and ankle joints and Mafex has been know to be fragile when in rough play. Anniversary marvel legend was great for teen build and having a Ditko designed Spidey in his 1st issue. Arguably better articulation than Renew Your Vows or any other Spider-Man marvel legend. Personally like having the default look with the modern spider symbols on the front and back so Renew Your Vows and Mafex 185 can give you a good modern Spider-Man for your collection. Hope this helps any collectors hunting for the best Spidey.

Honestly, I still prefer this figure over the S.H. Figuarts we got back in the day. Maybe the colors and sculpting isn’t there but the head is honestly doing a lot for this figure. Plus that RYW body really does wonders for it in terms of posing. Still not over the uneven pairs of hands though like cmon Hasbro 😪

A bunch of adults calling kid toys disappointing 😂😂😂 let’s be fair as a collector myself we have to know these marvel legends are targeted to kids and teens than actual collectors… we have to understand Hasbro isn’t making collection worthy figures they are making figures to basically be thrown around by kinds and such. That explains their lack of detail, and cheap feeling compared to Dimond Select ranges which are better suited for collecting but it’s marvel legends we get cause of their better variety, and articulation. A figure isn’t bad it’s just not up to expectations, and standards to a collector who does this as a Hobby.

I would’ve been fine with it being just a repaint of the RYV body mold if he just came with an even set of hands. Heck, I would’ve been fine if he just came with fists and thwipping hands. Hasbro’s fixation on giving their Spidey figures an unbalanced set is really weird and really annoying, too. And that’s not even bringing up the fact that it would’ve been great if it was a unique sculpt. I really hope S.H. Figuarts and/or Mafex make a figure of this suit. It deserves a good figure (not counting the Hot Toys because I personally don’t collect those).

This figure was grossly overpriced and released when Hasbro was essentially trying to see what they could get away with. I could be wrong, but they seem to have settled down when it comes to price creep like this. Though they are still too expensive in general.

I hated this spider man, it was until I bought the beyond suit where it grew on my.... So the body's really good but the beyond made it so... Paint aps are sticky for sum strange reason and some webs were missed and it's still too orange.. this is coming from someone who likes the marvel legends Oscar Isaacs moon Knight toy (not show it was not made for real og mk fans) so... In conclusion the toy is awesome but paint goes a long way also beyond has the perfect bug eye ultimate head sculpt imo.. which is not a strong opinion in others opinion 😂

Genuinely some of the worst accessories I’ve seen for a Spiderman Marvel Legends considering its price, I’d take 4 hands for a normal $25 Spiderman (even though that still sucks), but this?
