So beautiful. Just woke and I heard cardinals. I live in Brooklyn and I see cardinals which I know is my mom as she loved them and had cardinals everywhere in the house. And I see blue jays which I know is my dad. My grandma too who I believe to be the pair of doves. But I was really missing them all yesterday. My mom and dad always cheered me on and my mom would always laugh and say I had sand in my feet as I was always going against the grain and moving from one place to the next.
