Spyro 2 is the best of the trilogy. The cutscenes when entering and leaving the worlds are a nice touch, showing what Spyro will be dealing with and the difference he makes after leaving. Ripto was a great villain and his boss fight was just amazing.

Its so cool getting a different atmosphere and little story in every level this game is awesome through and through. Plus the calm world music

Spyro 2 is my favorite of the original 3. 2 had the charming fantasy theme of the first, but it had tighter gameplay like the the hover mechanic.
