I watched the bit where you thought you was racing with the RS3 lol, give over with ya selfs hahaha the driver wasn't even trying. 😂 I know for a fact the RS3 8y in stock form is faster. A mapped Mk3 Focus RS at stage two can hang with an RS3 8y so aint no way that stage two focus ST is they have smaller turbos. Also where are you getting 400bhp from? Checking Dreamscience they qoute 365BHP / 395FTLBS for a stage 2 mk4 focus st and that qoute is with all supporting mods so downpipe, intake and FMIC. The RS3 8y is 400BHP and 500FTLBS in stock form, infact they dyno a little higher than that. Bet if you dyno the Focus it won't even hit the 380bhp figure.

I like these cars, and this one is smart , but im not convinced with gapping an RS3 if the RS3 tries. He clearly let off.😂 What sort of 100-200 times you running?

I have one of these, I had a Wagner intercooler fitted, biggest available as they suffer from heat soak, I had it customer tuned by Sabre and it makes 375bhp, won’t make any more because the head won’t flow more power, needs high lift cams. I raced a Porsche 911 gts on the Autobahn last year and I was slightly faster. They have potential but they need cams and a bigger turbo. Very good fun car though for the money 👍🏻

Man i wish they still sold these in the states… i would absolutely upgrade. Doesn’t look better imo but its a new ST.

There’s no way that car would better an RS3. The RS3 is a superior car in every respect, hence the price of it ! The RS3 driver wasn’t even racing lol !

They're a nice whip but still the same block and internals made of cheese and a cylinder head that just isn't good enough for sustained high power over years of service. Even forged it pokes holes in itself.

I mean the RS3 makes an average driver look good. They're pretty good and the new 8Y is even better. I shouldn't probably do it but went straight into comments to read before watching and there's no way this car is gapping RS3s
