It's true mate, the ecoboost engines have terrible reliability. The 1.0 in the Fiesta and the 2.0 in the Focus - horror stories.

Awesome video!! Been waiting for another RS feature! Having a Mk2 RS myself, they will never be quick off the line, even in the dry they still spin up! I think you should have a separate leaderboard of like 30 to 100 times :-) my RS cant pull off the line quicker than a zetec fiesta lol but 30 to 100 there isnt many on the road that it cant keep up with :)

Had an 850 n by fuck for an estate it didn't seem right going as fast in something like a tank on tyres. Wish I'd kept a hold of it now sold it for 250 quid December last year after sitting 3 years and it's back on the road January there unreal

my dad has a chipped volvo v70r producing just over 300hp (it’s a saffron estate model) and it fucking moves. mid range from about 60-140 it can keep up with cars with big horses. we had a dual with a amg c63 and it wasn’t pulling away on the motorway. serious power and engineering.

The 2.5L five pot Volvo in these is a bloody miracle. They can handle stupid amounts of tuning if it's done by a pro. You could overtake nearly everything on NSL backroads so easily.

man has been unlucky with the reliability, several of my mates been running these around that power for years with no issues only upgraded pistons, and myself I had the MK2 ST225 with the same engine but smaller turbos running less power but super reliable and so much fun, I do miss the fact you could thrash it everywhere in any conditions dead easy to drive quick. Lovely car, not keen on the overrun but thats down personal taste :)
