i really wish cynthia and ariana didn't get so much shit for crying during the wicked press tour. it seems like this project was handled with a lot of care from everyone involved.

I havent seen people be particularly mean about them crying but i have seen the zeitgeist talks about it. But i also did notice that it went from “why are they crying so much” to “wow okay i get why they are crying so much” And i think the cast tried their hardest during the interviews to translate a “you had to be there moment” to the audience and i think they did that really well.

I think it’ll be remembered as more of a positive than a negative tbh. I’ve already seen that shift happening as the press tour winds down. It’s really rare to see two artists care this much about something and give 100% of themselves even during press, and I think it shows in the work.

timestamps of new content: 53:03 'unlimited' section of "Defying Gravity" 1:02:53 behind-the-scenes of the OGs' cameo 1:12:37 a scene in "Defying Gravity" where everyone was a mess pls let me know if i'm missing any it feels like i am, or Cynthia is just much better at not spoiling than Ariana - which would track, too

Cynthia was born to play Elphaba you can tell it’s a kindred lifeline between the character and Cynthia I’m so happy this role was earned by Cynthia people can see her in all her greatness

I have watched everything i can find about wicked. I love her! I could listen to her talk, singing, etc. all day! I love her perspective on the world, this character, and the kindness she shares with the world!

I really want like a 90 minute documentary that just focuses on how she managed to do all those stunts during Defying Gravity - flipping through the air and being swung left and right - and STILL be able to belt out those ridiculous notes so effortlessly and flawlessly. Watching some of the BTS clips of that scene made me question if this woman is even real or human because WTF Cynthia! 😅

Literally me. I'm trying to watch every single interview cynthia and ari have done about playing these roles.

The breakdown of the dance scene was everything🥹I loved hearing that and it really brings much more clarity to the scene. Absolutely one of my favorites

It's amazing to see how much they took care of the characters, the amount of details to precisely tell the story. Through Cynthia's words you can see it was a work of love and respect. Cynthia you were the perfect Elphaba, thank you so much for that.

i’m in love with her, i relate to her so much bc i never was able to fit in or to connect with my drama club/ class but i love performing so much so it’s nice to know im not alone 💚
47:00 Thank you for asking how the make up affects skin health. I think that’s one of those really interesting. Important questions that we all want to know but you’re the only ones I’ve seen ask it. When you hear about some of the makeup they used in the original Wizard of Oz, it seemed somewhat barbaric at the amount of toxins they were putting on their skin.

She was 25 in 2012, so for Elphaba I'm quite sure the principal at the time was Rachel Tucker; as for Glinda could be Gina Beck or Chandra Lee Shwarz; but Wicked experts last word is yours XP

Random question, but is there a significant portion of Wicked stans that is vegetarian/vegan? Cause obviously there’s a big focus on animal rights in the piece.

I dont understand, am i the only that feels they keep uploading the same interview over and over again?
@rebeccafriedman350213 минут бұрын
Before the movie came out they uploaded interviews with Cynthia and Ariana that cut out places where they talked about spoilers but now after the movie they’ve uploaded the same interviews but in full
