@@gandalfnamirreh379 Chernobyl is actually situated in Ukraine. It was annexed by the Soviet Union, and became temporarily free with the fall of the SU. Now it's occupied again.

Did you really say Pripyat was home to about 50,000 nuclear power plants? There weren't that many plants in the whole world.

Amazing how much damage man can do to the earth. Still we’ve learnt nothing and won’t stop until there is nothing left, including man himself

It is not unusual for catfish to grow large. Googling it will display many returns with them reaching over 8ft (2.5m) and weighing hundreds of pounds.

This is NOT a racist question. It's just curiosity. When you were speaking about the frogs and the melanin in the skin, does this mean that a black person would be less likely to get radiation damage in Chernobyl?

The core rods are probably about to the Earth's central core by now... It won't stop till it gets there.. Just waiting for the reaction, if it isn't what we're seeing already today.

The Russia scientists were experimenting with teleportation technology in Chernobyll and they opened up a port hole to another dimension, and there were aliens who came through to our planet and are alive and inhabiting the structures of Chernobyl

Those dark tourists are all interested in death and destruction and pain as long as it’s others that have to endure it but when they have to face it themselves it’s not so fun then… lmao…. Those type people disgust me ,, I’ve seen all the pain, destruction and death a person can stand for one lifetime and to seek it out without a reason like trying to prevent it from happening again is ghoulish and sick.

I've seen a documentary about cats living there. The cameraman came regularly for short periods to film a cat family. They once had to move because a bear decided to live in their abandoned house. They fed on mice and small birds. But most of the kittens were once eaten by a wolf. At last the cat followed the film maker to his house outside the danger zone.
