Clay balls also called wika and local, hydroponic stores have it. Also thus method of growing is called deep water culture, you maintain water levels just touching the clay balls and the water will soak up to the top with plenty of air in-between balls. If you can add an airstone on aquarium pump and reduce airflow with clamp on tubing so you have small amount of of bubbles, then you can lower water 1 cm below balls and bubbles popping on surface constantly flick water up wetting clay balls, with airstone the roots will grow into the water

Экспериментировала. Купила спец. кашпо с выступами на дне и дырчатый горшок внутри. Воду наливала в кашпо до 2 см в горшке с орхами. Керамзит снизу и внутри был влажный, а сверху корни пересыхали. В России слишком невысокая влажность воздуха по сравнению с тропиками. В конце стала сверху класть мох и увлажнять его ежедневно, особенно когда жарят батареи.

Это керамзит,везде продается.Для орхидей рекомендуют мелкую фракцию,хотя в видео товарищ использует крупную,но в мелкой растение более устойчиво.

@@ОксанаМакарян-щ5л вот убейте меня - я все магазины в Челябинске обошёл. Везде продаётся корявый дренаж, быстро покрывающийся известковым налётом. Я вообще орхи выращиваю довольно долго, решил перейти на открытую посадку после недавней катастрофы - то ли удобрение было плохое, то ли я с дозировкой переборщил. Все фаленопсисы пошли жёлтыми пятнами, листья высыхают и отмирают. Остались одни пеньки, из которых лезут молодые листья и покрываются такими же пятнами. Были очень редкие экземпляры - как-то практически синий, не виолацейный японский гибрид Aphrodite, наверно, всё придётся выкинуть
