I ask to purchase families groceries for them at the till, I don’t post on social media for attention or a message. The cashiers know and the families know. I just do it because when I was a kid nobody did it for us when we needed it the most. Pay attention to people looking at everything the bough constantly, or counting and recounting money in their wallet, or constant declines at the till. I refuse to give up my name or offers of repayment. Their kids will remember and one day they will help others in need because of one gesture.
