I have seen a number of these movies, although it has been awhile, and I did a dream tour of this island, when I watched your video, although I had to frequently pause, the video, until I found out where you were at on the map. I enjoyed dream touring it alongside you. It really helped me to remember parts of some of those movies, and in particular, Spirited away. Currently, I am in the early stages on my new restarted Island. I am hoping to make a cute and Elegant Sofia The First Island, but have never seen an Island on that show. At least, soon, I should get access to the kiosk, and unlock landscaping and waterscaping. I also plan to restart watching that show, but with copious notes this time. I would love to see an Island based on the show, if at all possible. I do not have instagram, but I really loved this Island, and it definitely gave me some ideas as well.

Not exactly. Kaguya is just the princess from the moon. The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter, or The tale of Princess Kaguya, is the name of the story that the movie was based off of, which is Japanese folklore. It's a bit too complex for me to explain in a YT comment, but the basic gest is this: childless bamboo cutter finds baby kaguya in bamboo stump, and chooses to raise her. As she grows older, she becomes really pretty... by the end of the story, she is friends with emperor of Japan. Her people come back for her, so as a gift, she gave her emperor friend a elixir of immortality. AND that's how Mount Fuji got it's name, as the emperor decided to burn the elixir on the tallest mountain that his people knew about.
