@@XDizzleMusic That's more a preference thing depending to the user but i've tried most of the DAWs but studio one does it especially with melodyne integration as well as chords extraction and drag & drop

Splice will put it on samples category for sell, and i think they will give u some credits and u can buy samples for u to produce if u want or just earn your money normaly. This is how i think

Studio one is more like the logic pro of PC... I've been using fl studio for over 5 years but once I tried out studio one I fell in love with the daw immediately

I heard someone say Cubase is more like Logic for PC. Is Studio One better than Cubase?

@XDizzleMusic I wouldn't say better coz every producer has their own taste. But for me, Studio one ticks all the boxes. And besides, I bought the quantum se 2, and I got 6 months free for studio one, and now I have recently bought the presonus eris studio 4 and I got another 6 month free of studio one I like that for every hardware you but these some few things you can get without even paying for them

They don't do anything with your sound. There is a delete button on the reference sound or track that splice is using to generate the search so you can delete the reference track after you have find the sound you are looking for

I'm a heavy Studio One user. But I can't justify the crazy yearly price for upgrades. $150 yearly whilst FL users get free lifetime. I'm learning FL and planning to ditch S1 eventually. They are milking people

Jamahook plug-in does the same by analyzing your 4 bar loop to find best matching samples, just don't know if their library is as good as Splice

It's doesn't really keep them. That's just to give you some few sound suggestions and also you don't have to upload your stuff you can even seach for what you need and it will still give you the same thing you need

They killing us with their heavy prices, I’m gone stick with Logic for now. Can’t buy a new version of Studio One every year. I haven’t paid for a Logic upgrade in 10 years and still I have the latest version.

@@XDizzleMusic yeah that’s wild, I’m on version 6 of studio one and if I want to upgrade to version 7 I’d have to pay $150 and even next year if I wouldn’t to upgrade to version 8 from version 7 I’d have to pay $150 to upgrade but u get to keep the perpetual license for each upgrade just like their subscription model. FL Studio is free upgrades for life.

Nah not really every upgrade. You pay once for a year worth of upgrade or updates
