Christians believe that the God of the Bible is the holy, perfectly-loving Creator of the universe from whom we are separated by our shortcomings. It is our hope for everyone (but especially those we respect and admire like Brett) to know Him personally through trusting in Jesus, because we know that apart from God, there is no true and eternal joy. God is the greatest good, and knowing and loving Him is the greatest good, so we want and work for that for as many people as we can. There is also no forgiveness for all that we do wrong (we are all sinners) outside of faith in Christ, and bearing our own sin instead of trusting Christ to pay for it with His death on the cross means we spend all eternity separated from God, the one true source of life and love and joy and peace. So, yes, I want what's best for all mankind, believing with everything in me that that best is a relationship with God through Jesus. FYI - I'm only going to respond to genuine, good-faith conversation. I have a personal rule against arguments on the internet. God bless you!

Brett, "The Pilgrims Progress" is the best selling book in the world after the bible. It's basically a transcription of a dream that a preacher named John Bunyan had while he was in prison for preaching the word of God. It's a metaphor of the journey a person goes through until she is saved and the life after that. One of my most treasured books. Love from Brazil 🇧🇷
