Thanks for exploring Bangladesh Brother. Everyone is commenting that they didn't expect Bangladesh to be that moderned or rich. Actually Bangladesh may be a small country with a vast population, but it holds immense potential and beauty. While we face certain limitations, we are also blessed with incredible assets. Our country reflects a rich diversity, with people from all income ranges and lifestyles. Cities like Dhaka, Chattogram, Rajshahi, Sylhet and other districts showcase modern advancements, while the rural areas offer a vibrant and raw natural charm blended with growing modern facilities. People are promptly incorporating various modern tools in daily life. Contrary to the narrative often portrayed by the media, Bangladesh is not as underprivileged as the world might think. With over 160 million people, we embody a spectrum of perspectives and challenges, making it difficult to maintain balance for everyone. However, we are making progress, and I truly believe the gaps will close in the near future. Our nation is much more than meets the eye-a place of resilience, diversity, natural, kindness and hope. Welcome to Bangladesh.🇧🇩🍀

As a Bangladeshi, if I tell the truth, I will say that we have not yet become modern. We are on the way to becoming modern. However, the media only highlights negative things about Bangladesh. Bangladesh also has many modern cities which are not highlighted. They promote only negative things.

Bangladesh is beautiful but the only dirty city is Dhaka. Noisy, pollution and an overly populated city is Dhaka. But, country sides, sea city Cox's Bazar and hilly area, or even northern area or mangrove forest are awesome places to explore.

There are thousands of such shops all around Bangladesh not just Gulshan, Banani or the diplomatic areas. I don't understand why foreigners go straight to Karwan Bazar. Im 30 years old and as far as I remember I have never been to a traditional bazar in my life. This place is a norm, it’s not unexpected. And it's not just for the wealthy people, I frequent such places and also bengal meat for proteins and I do not consider myself wealthy or rich.
@zara-he3jh18 күн бұрын
Dude, if you have never been to a traditional baazar and alway buy meats from Bengal meat, you are definitely in the upper class level 💀. Most middle class people can only afford to visit these places once in a while.
@nasidctg18 күн бұрын
@ Traditional butchers don’t sell completely fat and boneless meat nowadays. Only Bengal Meat does. Before bengal meat, we had a local butcher who used supply the meat we wanted directly to our house. It's not about being upper, middle or lower class, it’s about what you want and how you want it. I may be well off but not rich or upper class by any means. Me and my family are just great at sorting and organising.
@yvesthesleeve18 күн бұрын
Well, not sure, but we saw two major shops like this
@nasidctg18 күн бұрын
@@yvesthesleeve Just to name a few Agora, Shwapno, Meena Bazar, Carefour, Basket, K Mart, Mustapha Mart, Almas and countless other non chain local super shops. DCC market in gulshan and Kajir Dewri market in chittagong is also somwehat a mix betwern the old traditionals markets and the new supershops. Theres also wholesale club which I believe you went to. Most of them aren’t like super modern and big like Unimart but the idea of super shops are quite old in this country and started well before it started in most parts of South Asia. I live in LA by the way for most of the year and every year I feel the gap lessens in many sectors and thats how it should be. And before you leave, do try breakfast at star kabab and the authentic halim in Lalbagh

If you visit bandarban, Rangamati and sajek, mymensing and all over the country they are doing well. They have their own language and culture apart from the Bangla language and culture.
