Hey Bengal i just came thru to comment this: I’ve been having a hell of a lot of fun treating madden as a hyper realistic representation of real football. and no i’m not being sarcastic. i personally have an eagles franchise going so i’ve been doing a lot of what they do irl, manipulating numbers in the box with the zone read and rpo game, forcing defenses to bring bodies down and taking advantage of that with shots down field. also just genuinely treating it like i’m an nfl qb at the line pre snap. single high or 2 high look? motioning guys around getting tells as to man vs zone, it’s easy to treat madden as a completely separate entity from real football, and at some points it is with some of the glitches and just generally unrealism, but at its core it’s just a dumbed down simulation of nfl football, if a poorly executed one. Obviously it’s your franchise and do what the hell you want though lol
