Love ur work, so amazing! A random idea for u, maybe u could put a larger canvas underneath the paint stand (when ur doing like colours, not 1's that muddy) and after the top painting is done, u could try to create a completely different painting (using a different technique than u did on the top canvas) on the under canvas. It would mean u can't preplan the bottom canvas design, it would be something u come up with on the fly. Could be a fun way to get u out of ur comfort zone. Another idea to use the different supplies u have is u could do the spin the wheel like u did when u were collaborating with I think it was Olga Soby. 1 wheel for brands, 1 wheel for colours, 1 wheel for technique. BTW, Congrats on the Artigra, u truly deserve it!

I love the idea you have for next year - using paints from your shelves that you never use. I think that would be fun. I just found your channel in the last couple of months, so I am making my way through your past videos. I find them to be very relaxing. I sometimes turn on a playlist and let them play straight through when I go to bed. When I wake up in the morning, I frequently find that I had fallen asleep after the first couple of them. Thanks for your channel!

Yes, I like your idea of what you have in mind for next year. I too, keep using the same colors and wonder why I have all these other colors and seldom use them. So watching you do a video using paints that have been sitting idle would be a big help to further inspire me. I like your vortex painting as well. You are such an amazing artist, and your passion for fluid art shines through with every piece you create.

I absolutely agree with you! Those first few sweeps were to die for! And we all know you’re heavy handed lol. I wonder if…you keep the lighter colors and use less closer darker blues! Once you went around again it went so “dark” which for me is blended. The separation of those colors were so good!!! So excited for part II, II.5 and III versions of this idea!

Congrats on your acceptance to Arty Gras! I've only done one juried show (I was accepted to the one juried show I applied to) and it felt like a validation of my art. Don't know you at all, but I'm proud of you nonetheless! As for the using up supplies challenge, I'd love to see you do something along those lines. I watch quite a few homestead channels and many of them participate in a pantry challenge in January where they don't buy any new foods - using up what is in their freezers, canning shelves, pantry. I think an art supply challenge is a great idea, and I know I'd love watching it. I'm so glad I found your channel. I love fluid art and watching you create beautiful paintings! As for techniques, flip cups with drops of silicone are my favorite. I love lots and lots of cells!
@lorasmith553Күн бұрын
I love it! To me it looks like a rose, I can see the center of the flower and the petals curving out all around the center. It has depth giving it enough of a 3d affect that I am looking into the rose. I love the silver and white giving it the edges of the flowers very subtly and lending to the definition of the petals. All the petals to make 1 rose. I know art is subjective and I do see a rose. I did like the curved flower petals that you started with all around that gorgeous center. I was actually thinking that very thing when you said you would like try it. In my mind's eye I could see it as a painted daisy, with a golden center. I can't wait to see what you come up with!! I also wondered what it would be like if you did that style spinning it, and holding the dryer on one side and spinning it into the wind. I can envision that, too. I bet it would be smoother but the colors would be blending into one another. I also imagine the cell reaction on that to be fantastical! I don't know because I don't know anything about painting. It is my vivid imagination that makes me see these things. I also imagine if I were a painter I would be like you, doing a lot of extermination!! Quite lovely Molly! I love the blue rose that I see.

Yes, really interesting result. I green I loved what happened in the centre at the first blowout. I should follow your lead and use some of the paint I have stacked on shelf! But have to wait until Spring before I can resume fluid art. English winters are cold and damp and no heat in garage. Keep experimenting.
@MOLLYSARTISTRY14 сағат бұрын
Thanks for the encouragement! It's will definitely be fun to get creative with what I have on hand! Hope it gets warm soon for you so you can paint!

Just re-read my comment. I meant to type ‘really’ but predictive text substituted with ‘green’! Also wanted to add that whoever said that you always used the same method can’t have been watching for very long. You have covered wide variety of techniques and when you do a series on a particular technique or colour combination there is always something different with each painting.

Love the idea of using orphan colors and trying the vortex or one of your designs you like! I liked the first blowout of the vortex when you had the flower and squiggly lines around it. But, when I stopped yelling at you for ruining it...😅 I liked the end product. Loved the chaos in the center and smooth on the outer part. But, yeah, you lost some of the colors with that later blowout. Love the experiment. Would be great with a black, white, gold too! Or shades of purples! Thanks! It was fun!🎉
