isn't it a bit of a waste tho if u lose all progress when u literally press " continue " ... i would love to unlock all the parts and perks and stuff this just made me change my decision to not buying the game :D idk i have to lose progress if I wasnt the one who decided it. but yeah in a story sense it's really cool.

the interesting part is, every time we die, it says "copy burnt". So cyril has probably made copies of us and every time one dies or reaches this point of realization, he just replaces us with another copy.

Yeh I was thinking that if it can be uploaded and have a digital data version then you could probably make a copy of it. I think it was even possible to have multiple digital clones of your consciousness

wow! felt like an abrupt ending. still enjoyed but was looking foward to learning more about the lore, especially about the ghost people he saw and highpoint. I get Horizon vibes from this. Robots, really amazing open world, great unique, in depth story, and a questionable character you work with. Ty for playing it through, will def watch any future updates!

I loved this game myself. I completed the first loop and i was only level 7 (13 hrs gameplay) so i didnt even unlock everything. I wished it had gone on a bit longer. Its such a fun concept.

It's funny, the game that this reminds me of the most is the old Master Blaster for NES, it was pretty much a platformer where you piloted a futuristic tank but got out to go into buildings as the pilot.

So I got to this finale and I am like no this cant just be the ending. So I continued and did the first mission again but showed the same sequences so I stopped. Maybe there is something that happens if we redo the missions! I am so intrigued!

Cyeil is the girl who helped you in the escape. He quotes a line you say to her at the end of the escape, 'all things that matter are forgotten' or something along those lines.

Not so. Its hinted from their conversations that withtaker and cyril bonded for a very long time before cyril sends withtaker to highpoint. However, cyril found that withtaker aid is unreplaceable so he made a copy of his mind to endlessly aid him in completing the tankhead mech.

There better be more to this game. I did not spend $30 for 3 maps😮‍💨 and the parts that exist in the trailer and not in the game make me both alarmed and hopeful. Please let there be more that I don't have to pay more for.....$10 a map is crazy

Yeah.... this seems kind of empty for a finished $30 game, I have seen early release titles with more content than this, and the timing rigging on the female character in one of the early cutscenes was atrocious..... I also don't see real rougelite replayability here with what is on display... I don't see any early access tag on the epic games store page... and I don't see any other games by this developer, so there is no telling how they will handle additional content if there is any. I don't have high hopes for getting much more for your money than what has been put on display here and they are only released on the Epic Store as well(I HATE that you can't read reviews on that store). My buyer beware alarm is going off saying wait and see on this one... and I had the same gut reaction Markiplier had to Honey ROFL.

And Merry Christmas to you and your family. As for the story, I didn’t expect the loop. I suspected Cyril and you were from before highpoint lost the war though. Probably high ranking military for highpoint or at least he was. Now he is still fighting a secret war and you are his only soldier. I suspect that even true immortality in robot form isn’t possible since he seems to have aged? Maybe the only way to keep someone alive is to have a save state like he does with you but your real consciousness is dead so your “brain” is bugging out. Idk I don’t want this to be such a long read. Good stuff though.

according to a guy that worked at area S4 near area 51 back in the 1989 said that he worked on an alien space craft and he worked on its propulsion system and said it was powered by ELEMENT 115. interesting that the game is using that in the game. lol. very interesting indeed.

If whiter's handler is to be believed....the original Whiter *made it to HighPoint* ... meaning that the original mc didn't like what has become of his home and truly ended it and Cyril ever the scavenging opportunist took a piece of memorabilia for payment. Maybe DLC will be about the original Witcer's journey into highpoint and involves the mech droid... and possible bosses before this trio... like ones from the war

lovely little game but there is the rub.....so short. The game needs more missions to be truly impressive. 30 USD is too much for an under the tree extra that most kids can finish on Christmas Day hours after opening the box so to speak.
