*fun fact:* the t rex didn't actually ROAR but instead used something called INFRASOUD. This is the type of sound that humans can FEEL as well as hear. Instead of roaring to communicate they let out a low rumble....the same kind of rumble that horror movies use to scare the SHIT out us and it WOULD be the SCARIEST SOUND you couldn't HEAR that well but FELT in your BONES. The type of soundboard toonz uses at 7:03 that is the rumble is the closest you'll get to what the Tyrannosaurus Rex really sounded like.

@@ribottostudio yeah it’s pretty amazing. It’s not so much that they hear it when the distance is too great but they sense it with their feet. Elephants will send the infrasound into the ground with their head and their group will feel it in their sensitive feet. If I recall correctly they can communicate through the ground some 25 miles which is helpful when the family is spread out looking for a watering hole during the dry season.

I know this game might have lost some popularity lately but I'm always entertained by their games and I love the variety in this game. The number of mods they could try is endless, using mods that Nogla, Sub&Fletch, Bak Bak etc have tried or any original ideas they come up with their own ideas like the Aliens vs Predator mod. 1) 3rd roles like Doctor/healer, Jester, Witch, Wizard, Troll, Vampire, Cyborg, Undead etc 2) Imposters having traps like Claymores, bear traps, pitfalls, swinging logs/blades/axes, tripwires, wall arrows, locking rooms and filling them with water etc, etc 3) Time travel - 10s after pressing the button you teleport to where you were when you pressed the button with 5s of invisibility 4) imposters can release a swarm into a vent that comes out of the vent in another room to kill any crewmates around within 10s or so 5) imposters can shrink (they run faster and lose their name, changing colours for 15s or so) 6) imposters can shapeshift into objects to hide 7) A Siren to lure crewmates to their death (i.e. to an imposter but there's only one) 8) Hitman - poisoning crewmates/tasks and hiding bodies (the disguise seemed pointless with prox chat) 9) Everyone can vent 10) imposters can Mindcontrol 11) imposters can vent from anywhere to anywhere/to the nearest vent 12) imposters can see thru walls 13) imposters can place cameras 14) imposters can kill in vents 15) Avatar/God - place earth walls, make holes in the ground, place fire/burn ppl, throw fireballs, kill with water bubbles, run in an air bubble, shock ppl with lightning 16) Thanos/ Infinity Stones. Either start with the stones or has to collect them from around the map. Space - Teleport anywhere/ create portals/ walk thru walls. Mind- mind control. Soul - Create another imposter/ resurrect someone. Power - remove kill cooldown/ use a blast of energy/AOE stomp. Reality - change maps/disguise/turn invisible. Time - freeze people/ reverse time 17) freeze tag 18) gravity shift 19) Time cop - can rewind 5s (ppl go back, bodies can be revived etc)

Phasmophobia mod The lights are always out. Crew mate vision is in the direction you walk, like a flashlight. Flashlight can be turned off but it becomes pitch black, you can’t see your character. Ghost is a bit slower than crew mates, but can go through walls to surprise or cut them off. Ghost vision is lights out. Ghost can only find you with proximity chat and your flashlight. No map. Ghost can shut doors.

I think the time it takes to turn invisible should be like just a little faster because since they're massive it seems their kill range is increased so even if they come from off screen as soon as you stop moving, they can reach and kill you before you turn fully invisible as long as they like spam the kill button, and if you're getting chased well there's just no getting away.

now for another dinosaur fact, based on current science: sadly, Dinosaurs were not all that roar-y... most of them used infrasound to vocalize. Infrasound is that rumbly noise Elephants often use to talk with others for great distances. The current recreation of a tyrannosaurus sound is very low and almost a creepy hum. Rexes wouldn't roar at you, they'd more than likely send a chill down your spine just before chomping you down. (kinda like the clip toonz uses at 4:10, but much lower) However, probably the most vocal had to be the hadrosaurs, like parasaurolphus , who from scienticif studies of its hollow crest, was a honky tuba giant.

MOD IDEA: Necro Mod (2 new roles) - One Imposter is the Necromancer. They have the following powers, in addition to normal imposter stuff: Medium - a passive power, they can see and hear ghosts. Zombie - Used on a dead body that will resurrect the player - their colour changed to black, name turns green and renamed Zombie, and they have the Kill imposter ability. If they kill anyone (they can only kill crewmates) they immediately die as well and their own body is removed. Even if they do not kill they die after 20 seconds. This ability begins immediately available but once used has a 60 second cooldown. Raise Dead - Used on a dead body, it brings that player back to life as an undead minion. They operate like a normal Imposter. Can be used only once in a game. To balance this, one Crewmate is the Cleric. A Cleric is immune to Zombies: if a Zombie tries to kill the Cleric, the attempt fails, the Zombie dies. If the Cleric is killed a sound is played to indicate to everyone the Cleric was killed. Also their body cannot be turned into a Zombie and they cannot be brought back to life by the Necromancer. Clerics also get the following powers, which are lost if the Cleric dies: Divine Intervention: This power lets the Cleric immediately resolves any Sabotage: all doors are opened, comms is fixed, lights fixed, oxygen-- etc. All sabotages are undone. Starts immediately available but once used has a 60 second cooldown. When used the screen very briefly flashes yellow and the Cleric gets a golden glow for 1 second,. Resurrect: Used on a dead body of a crewmate it brings the crewmate back to life. Can only be used once in a game. Last Rites: Used on a dead body, the body is erased from the map so it cannot be used by the Necromancer. 60 second cooldown when used. Note on Additional Rules: when a player is brought back to life, either by the Necromancer or the Cleric, they cannot speak or use Chat. It is recommended to have voting be anonymous. This stops them revealing secrets that the dead may know. Body Reporting is disabled. If people want to report bodies they need to use the Emergency Meeting button. This is to give Clerics and Necromancers a chance to actually use their abilities since meetings erase bodies from the map.

Game mode ideas: #1 Hot potato - 10 minute countdown timer - One player starts as "it." They have to chases other players and tag whoever is the closest. Last to be it when the timer runs out is the loser. #2 Hot potato with obstacles - Same as above, but the "it" player is a couple pixels faster that the others, while the others can drop a small brick wall behind them when running, every 30 seconds, to slow down the "it" player.

Exactly that in among us. two imposters can put 2 bombs each which will be invisible to the crew members, one of the crew members can be defuser, who is the only one who can see the bombs and can diffuse it, just like a task that takes time, imposters can kill too but the kill cooldown will be huge.

Y’all should make a mod where a crew mate is a medic and can revive dead bodies by bringing them the med bay scan. The dead bodies of course disappear when the button or a body is reported. Which will have crew mates not call the button in order to help the medic. The impostors have to find out who is the medic and also can hide the bodies by reporting them, thus causing them to self report making them more sus. But the catch is when you are revived you can’t speak.

New mod idea, superheroes vs villains. Heroes and villains can choose what power they have each round, being able to turn invisible like invisible woman, go as fast as the flash, being able to possess people to frame for kills as venom, or set timed joker bombs. I can see this having unlimited potential as the heroes use their powers to stop the villains from killing civilians, and the villains using their powers to kill people in funny ways. I hope you decide to do this mod.
