I've seen a couple of guesses as to when this happened. One of them is actually the night when she divorces the emperor. Because she walks in to the boat just as Ruyi is leaving and so she most likely heard their entire conversation. However, I think it wasn't a single point in time, but rather her watching her father essentially become morally weak. Because people gossip, she would be aware almost instantly of everything that he did that was a problem. I can't even imagine how embarrassed or upset She would have been when she found out that her father was giving out favors to women who were essentially prostitutes
