tbh its sometimes just dissappointing that people dont understand, that the haybalers dont tank a specific amount of projectiles or anything and that those arrows were too many for them, because its so fucking obvious that the hay armour of course shields them from the arrows its not about the amount its about where it hits and the bars dont just instantly run away or run when atacked, they run when another unit gets too close and when that unit isnt moving hel turn back and forth until you kill him

Today I made some testing with Artemis... The Viking ship was the only unit to beat Artemis in 1vs1 in the ancient map. The ship seemed useless at first but actually it is quite good.

Ya I think everyone has had a similar experience with the longship You look at it and think “wow this things shit compared to all the other boss units” Then you use it the way it was supposed to be used and all the parts of it from the big splash it has to to the paddle units it’s actually amazing

Longships seem to be able to reliably close the distance against most ranged units due to there being so much indestructible boat for them to shoot at, and them not being smart enough to aim for the squishy people. Those paddlers hit like trucks once they disembark too, and are surprisingly accurate considering how awkward their weapon is. They're very similar to the new executioner unit, and they might not have as much health, but seem to at least match him in damage, and vastly outperform him in both accuracy and attack rate. Overall, they put him to shame. I wonder how expensive they'd be as their own individual unit.

Place bone mages in the back if you want them to hit units that are also further. It's not just about units, it's also about positioning. You have the whole map, not just the 3 inches in front of the line.

Drae, the bards don’t work as you think they do. The bard are meant to be used to melee units, and not ranged units. What they do is they have to get in a certain distance, which is really small, and then lure them away. The problem is, since the archers have massive range, they can’t get close enough to them. This means they all run forward and die, before they can do anything

In the update, Haybalers are knocked down by ballista bolts all the time. Previously, you could beat Zeus with 1 Haybaler about 80% of the time, now his attacks will knock people down though so he's more effective

Hey balers can take infinite arrows because the arrows are not forceful enough to penetrate the hay, but they can die to one arrow to the head, legs, or arms bc those are exposed. The ballista can kill a baler in two shots through the thick hay armor.
