Another interesting idea would be that tachanka had a little resistance to fire, not completely but for example 30 or 50% resistance.

His fire needs to do more damage to stop people from just walking through it but not too much to where they can’t run through it so that it’s not too broken

The problem is that if you make it so people can’t walk through it, having a tachanka alive at sub 1 minute in a round is an automatic loss to an attacking team. This is the same reason they nerfed azami, you just block off all the doors and laugh as people either run head long into a gunfight they can’t win or lose on time. I’m all for making gadget actually powerful again, but it still has to have some counterplay. No one counters grenades of offense, so buffing his gadget could VERY EASILY make tachanka broken beyond all reason.

if you wanna make him op make it so his launcher detonates instantly instead of the 1 bounce, if you shoot a ceiling the flames drop down, and if they walk through the fire they get a burning effect that works kinda like frost mat limp, or gu mine (they have to snuff out the fire on their arm or something) decrease ammo capicity to 3 to 4 shots in a mag with max of 16 bullets, make the fire last the same as a smoke canister, (only if they shoot all 4 bullets in the same area) . and if extra op make him a 3 speed, now hes most op operator in the game

Personally I say keep the bounce. For starters it givers you a reason to use him over smoke and gives more options for creativity.

Why are we still coming up with concepts, as if Ubisoft actually cares they don’t listen to the community worth a damn. We want nerfs to certain operators and we get slight changes that really don’t do anything. We want buffs to weapons or new weapons and we get nothing. We want reworks to operators who don’t get played because they suck, and they make them either worse than ever or broken beyond comprehension

Just give him back mounted LMG, and one more. His mounted lmg was for holding a line and prevent the attackers. If ubisoft wants the players choose him more, this will work i think.

Here's my idea for Tachanka Rework: - Fast Reloading the Launcher - 10 Rounds instead of 5 - Take away the SMG so those tryhards can use a real gun - Have the fire act like barbed wire to prevent enemies from running through it

Looks cool, but that would mean he can cover an entire room or bomb site with 1-2 grenades. With fire lasting 14(?) seconds that's minimum 42 seconds of large area denial. Would have to reduce amount to 4-5. Especially since you could bounce off entrance to flush a room and just rat-tat-tat everyone who's running away from the huge fire radius.

It is not a rework, its literally only changing a number un de radious of the fire, and in the number of ballets and reload time, it takes maybe a minite to do. Is a buff in said case

Personally I just think the fire needs to do more damage. Be an actual threat. The reload being slightly faster would be nice too though

rather then making tachanka into ranged goyo i think its better to maybe give him sticky fire you can still run through it for not much damage but you pay for it dearly in the seconds after, allowing him to deny like a whole corridor, but if someone wants to bum rush it and try to get a kill they still can, all these buffs just sound like make his fire goyo fire strength if that happens i think he will some of his identity, even if it is mostly tied to his gun.

Personally, I'd just give his fire the ability to slow down attackers just like they're in barbed wire. Also, make him immune to his own fire. Reason? Because he is Tachanka.

i would say just make the reload quicker and the gadget less clunky and the fire should be covering more space (in the video its a little bit too much) and it should make more damage so u cant just sprint though it and kill tachanka who is still holding his launcher. I guess switching from the gun to his launcher should be faster too

You understand tachanka is how he is due to balancing him with other area denial operators like Smoke and Goyo? This buff would make him objectively better than both in every way in all instances. You deserve a job on the 2017/18 Ubisoft balancing team with such a terrible opinion.

Just leave him as is and forget about him tbh, the game has much more wrong with it than a default op who hasn’t been that strong in years, however, a good tachanka is about as rare and going to your backyard and finding diamonds and when you have one they’re arguable as good as smoke if not better now that he’s got a 2x

What about the flames set you on fire and you got to crouch or prone to extinguish it? Gives you audio q and slows down the enemy (could be an animation like the gus from lesion use as well) then hes a mix of smoke and lesion 👍

I don't like it just make it do more damage the rest of that is just Overkill making it bigger gives him way too much map control especially giving him more ammo what the f***. Literally just up the fire damage and maybe the burn time that would be more than enough to make him not just effective but damn right devastating in the right circumstance.
