This Tank Shreds Tigers

French tanks in War Thunder are often heavily overlooked, but the tech tree certainly has some gems. The AMX M4 medium tank is quite good, being very mobile and having a very good cannon. Its armor isn't great, but that's the tradeoff.

actually he didn't theres a split second where it says "critical hit" before it moves onto the Tiger, so his shell did go through the ISU-122S but overpenetrated and hit the Tiger's turret side, which ricochet off to the right

For spgs i cant understand still, but think that 120 or 130 sp is downtier, same as from 90 for spaa (not top spaa, like adats/ito/pantsir) to 70 (mb i'm wrong in spg/spaa SP costs, but for mbt/lt/mt i'ts all the same)

since you said the ratel 90 wasn't bad, you should play the objectively awful ratel version; the ratel 20. it has the same bad mobility as the 90, but with the same weapons as the marder IFV, which doesn't sound bad at first, until you realise you're expected to fight king tigers and jumbo pershings with 7 slow moving ATGMs and an autocannon that can't even pen a panther's side (day 37)

6.7 to 8.0 French are my most favourite vehicles (and ARL 44 ofc, it's BRUTAL with a good crew). With them I finally started to play WT and not just suffer. With a good angle you can break havoc, absolute havoc, like you did in the first game. Thank you for showing that french aren't that bad (after some low tier pain)...
